Curt Van Hooser was more than a volunteer; he was family. His dedication to veterans and his community ran deep, and he gave countless hours to building up others through the Forgotten Soldier Program. Curt played a pivotal role in organizing Ride For A Cause over the past five years, turning it into a powerful tradition that brought people together in service and solidarity.
Before his retirement, Curt was a respected leader at Sutter Health, and he also made history as the first Director and Founder of the Sierra Thunder Harley Owners Group. Everywhere he went, Curt led with passion, integrity, and heart.
His sudden passing on September 21, 2025, left a hole that cannot be filled, but his legacy will carry on through every life he touched. Curt showed us what true service looks like, and his impact will live on forever in this community.
Our hearts are with his wife, Cyndee, as we honor Curt’s life and everything he gave to others.
Forever remembered, forever missed.
